15 lbs. Apex Adrenaline
pin out 3"
don't know top weight

Pro shop drilled the ball rev leverage with balance hole 2" deep, MB 45 degrees. I love the reaction of the ball. Its backend is tremendous as if the ball is really really angry with the pins. I'm a lefty and stand at around 30 boards from left and throws between 5 to 10 boards. I'm bowling in normal house condition. Have tried on long oil pattern with the previous league and has performed well(Our team finished 3rd - DFBC 1st conference 2003,DUBAI,UAE).
Hope to score well in our EABC league so i can join the coming in Bankok this August.

I highly recommend the ball.

I traded this ball with a guy online in the fall of 2002...he sent it to me and I sent him the Trauma Response, all I did was swap finger inserts.
first game I rolled it I knew I'd love it...
Then on thursday night league I had front 7 strikes left a 10 pin and missed it,then struck out for 267.
next game shot 300 all dead flush strikes, then went front 4 spare strikes to the 9th left the bucket(first ball outta the pocket all night..of course I chopped it...then struck out for 246...wow what a ball...

then almost a year and a half later I see it setting on my side porch,so I changed grips and tonight on Jan 28,2004 I shot the following

233 - 299 - 278 = 810 so it just goes to show you whats not in your bag one night shoulda been the next night,

good luck and good bowling,

Paco

I've had the ball for a couple of years now and it is a terrific ball. Drilling #3 from the drill sheet, 4" pin to PAP, 45 degree bomb. Very powerful ball, keep it at around 600 grit sanded for medium to heavy oil, never change the surface. Since it has been discontinued, I have a lot of people trying to pry it away from me to no avail. The most versatile ball I have ever owned. May try a Big Time if this one wears out.

This may just be the best Ebonite ball ever made. Or is it the Nitro/R. Or is it the Vortex 2 or the One or Matrix Trimax II or mabey the Red Wolf. It's a tough choice cause Ebonite is the best ball company on the market. I liked this ball for it's versitility. Designed to play on conditions that are spotty and a perfect tournament ball. Nice mid lane, somewhat a rolling/continous arcing ball with alot of power. It plays terrific the most playing a heavy condition where you are forced to play more outside and direct. Perhaps not one of the best for opening the lane with but it can be done. Out of all the Apex balls, this gem truly shined.

Had mine for over a year now, shot my first 300 with it on September 24, its amazing, can be used on all patterns (atleast that ive played) just have to adjust with feet and speed, its a powerhouse! Been drilled once and has no knicks or scratches, very beautiful, would sale if anyone is interested, buying a new BVP Rampage, needing something newer in my bag, let me know.

I collected all of the Ebonite Apex ball.
This is the ball I used next to my the Apex Addiction and Apex Obsession. I used these Three ball on a Sports Shot 2 years ago. All Sanded 800 to 300 grit. But Sports Shot is such a Hard League. So I don't blame the ball if I make some error. Everyone balls reacts like a dart anyway. On a Medium lane I start at the 2 to 3 left board (Right handed). On a Sport Shot I start at the 2 to 3 right board and still roll toward the 10 pin. But of course you learned to adjust.

Overall it's a great ball.

Don't think anyone uses this one anymore except me.  I had not used Ebonite for a long time, but was trying a bunch of stuff as I moved from 16 to 15.  Another eBay purchase for a very nice price.  Didn't have to move the layout much, pin under the ring finger, mass bias kicked out to the right, weight hole.

Astounding results on my house shot.  I have raised my average from about 207 to 216 this year using this thing.  Not sure what it is, but I see a really strong arcing roll, with plenty of finishing power at the end.  Seems to carry everything.  Since I don't turn the ball a lot, I did run into some trouble the one night that there was a heavier volume out there.

Definitely the first ball out of the bag, and very usable on a house shot. I am still wary of the folks out there that say some of the Ebonite stuff burns up, but I have not seen it so far.
