1000 Grit SR300?

Has anyone took their SR300 down to 1000 grit, if so how did you like the reaction

I really like mine with 1000 grit. Mine is drilled with the pin 6" from pap and an x-hole on the pap so it doesn't flare very much. It's very good on a fresh shot. Early enough to handle the oil in the midlane but strong enough to come back on shots sent a little wide. I'm also able to control violent backends with it. If you have a strong layout on yours I would suggest starting with 2000 grit and if that isn't enough then hit it with 1000.

I love mine. I jumped straight down to smoothen out the backend and give me an earlier read, and it did just that. This ball is great at any cover prep!!!

adding polish to 4000 didn't help me...so looks like i'll jump down to 2000 and see what i get....this thing has a little too much "stop on a dime."
