Angular One
« on: December 21, 2006, 09:03:52 AM »
Has any body had to put a track on this ball?

i just got her drilled up today, and the ball wasn't quite so angular?

Its drilled stacked leverage, pin to the right of ring, cg in strong, mass bias in strong position as well.

Thanks folks.

I got mine drilled similar to yours and I was real discouraged at first. I was throwing darts for the most part. After about 6 games on it it really showed its stuff. It just need a longer break in period. This is not a ball you would want to try in league with out some practice with it first. The entry point holds true to the balls name. I love this ball, I thought my big one hit hard but it hits like poo compared to AO.

If you are really a cranker why would you leverage a super strong ball with strong mb in the 1 st place???

The ball is called the Angular One why would you want it not to be Angular???

Now the ball is not angular you guys have serious issues with what is angular what is not???  The only ball i currently own out of 280 right now that is more angular off the breakpoint is the SD-73, yes i had the widow and it was pretty angualr off the dry boards. My paradigm is pretty angular off the dry also but some would say that is arcy ball to them, well not if you use the assymetrical flip drilling like i use on all of higher mb balls.

I'm sorry but I don't understand how anyone can say this ball isn't angular on the backend?  I guess if you drill it stacked leverage it would not be so angular with that drilling.  If you put a skid flip layout on this ball it's very angular with it's reaction.

The Angular One has one of the strongest back end moves I have ever seen.  This ball is very strong off the break point.

I have had them all and for me, the most angular (skid snap) of the bunch was the original One. My Angular is no where near as strong as the original One.

Have you ever seen a Widow with a skid/flip drilling? Since I've seen one thrown on the PBA TWC Shot.. Down 3.. goes 50ft and then goes LEFT.
