ball changes
« on: November 27, 2006, 10:08:15 PM »
In a recent tournament i bowled in i had trouble in the last few games of the first day. We bowled 15 games and i threw my SR300 all day. But i had trouble with it in games 10-13. I tried my One(polished at 500) and Agent(out of box) and both didn't hook enough. I lost a lot of pins in these games. In the last game and half i threw my agent and had success. I was wondering if i need a new ball or can sand my One to a different grit?

Doesnt sound like the ball is the problem.  Could be a matter of you either one caught a bad couple of pairs.  Or two you ran into other people tracks.  That is assuming that you moved after every game.  Honestly I would keep the balls the same however move in the direction your missing.  I.E moved right if your not getting the ball back.  Seems corny but works.

If your looking for a new ball go with the infinite one sanded to 500 grit.  That would work in this situation just understand that is not going to have a huge back end.  I will hook more in the front than in the back.
