bash sanded?

hi i have a 14 lb bash. been used numerously. i want it to hook a little earlier than normal. so what is the original grit and what should i take it to?

just try taking it to like 1000 or 2000 and see what happens... doesn't cost much (if anything) to change

I believe they came from the factory 1000 and polish. I would suggest 2000 or 4000

for it to hook early i thought it needs to go down grit not up?

If it came dull, yes, but it didn't. It came polished. Try HAMMERDOWN103's suggestion.
