Drilled one up last night after my league play.  Threw a few shots with it.  All I can say this ball is amazing.  I have every ball in the NV line,  by far this is the strongest.  Ball picks up great.  It clears the heads with ease. For it to be a non pearlized ball, it has a ton of backend snap.  I will put more info about the ball after I throw a few more times. I will also tell you what layout I used..

But the Complete NV is a Pearl. Mine actually looks terrible, color wise. Tons and tons of silver with big white splashes in it, with alittle blue and purple in it. Considering not drilling it do to the color scheme.

It looks like a cool looking ball. But will it be better then the NVS. I was not happy with that ball.

Another great review not. People always coming on here saying stuff like I threw a couple shots with it and the ball is flat out amazing. You cannot tell after a couple shots with anyball. It needs to be thrown on different conditions and at minimum 50 games to know how it will truly react. Heck I saw one guy on a actuall review say I got mine last night I havent drilled it yet but I can tell by looking at it that its gonna hit like a truck and roll awesome.

Good point 86. But I feel that you could tell what is to be expected from the ball after a few shots. I have thrown balls that sucked the first time I threw them. And you know what? They still sucked when I tried to use them from time to time. I also have thrown balls that reacted great from day one and they still are.

you don't have to throw a ball for 50 games to give it a fair review.. I agree more than a few shots are needed to give a fair opinion of the ball, but no way 50 games are needed..

I say after 5 or 6 games I know what to expect out of a ball..

No a "pretty" ball doesnt come with more strikes, it is all a personal preference. I myself dont have tons and tons of revs and balls with alot of color I find very difficult to actually get a read of what the ball is doing. The more contrast in color the more the ball appears to be lopping. Do to this appearance I find it more difficult to see when the ball is coming off of the  breakpoint. Years ago I had an Erase-It that was a very good ball and I shot some decent scores with it, but many of times I absolutely could not tell where the ball was reading at because it alwasy looked like it was doing nothing. Because of this I prefer balls that are darker or more solid in color. Now I have already seen some Complete NV's that look like a dark blue pearl, for myself I would much rather have that then the ball I ended up with. If I had my own choice I would be completely happy if every ball was made black and black pearl. So no the color has nothing to do with ball performance it is just a personal preference.

I get what you are saying. For the same reason, I always wondered why a guy would put black grips in a black ball. Any ball with a mix of colors is easy to read, and on solid colored balls, I just use a contrasting color for the grips. That would be my suggestion to you as well...just use grips that stand out from the other colors on the ball.

This, in my opinion is ridiculous. Clashing grip/thumb slug colors on opposite colored balls is ugly and seems very "kid like" to me. It does not portray a certain professionalism that clear/black grips/thumb slugs do.

I typed "contrast", and you read "opposite" and "clash".
I only use two color grips...white and black.
I use white on dark colored balls and black on light colored balls.
Nowhere did I mention hot pink, lime green, or flourescent orange.
If you like wild colors go for it, but it is not needed to obtain "contrast".
