Ebonite junkies....help me out!
« on: May 13, 2004, 09:31:20 AM »
This is similar to the thread in the Brunswick section

Another Arsenal question.  Here's my Profile

Right Handed Power Stroker
Medium Track, PAP: 4 11/16ths over, 3/16ths up
Rev Rate: 340-360rpms, Speed: 17mph(at 50 ft)

Here's my current lineup

Savage Solid (3x0) - Command Zone Arc (4x4) - V2 Solid (4x4) - Nitro R2 (2x2) - Blazing Inferno (5x4) - Teal Rhino (4x4 1/2) - Plastic

I have the Savage sandblasted for a rare instance of heavy, V2 and Teal Rhino high polished, and everything else box finish.  What I am lacking is something very backend aggressive that can be bumped around all night on the typical house shot, and as it breaks down I can chase the oil line left without worrying about an overreaction.  I just need something that increases the sweet spot down the lane, it seems like with everything I have being for one set reaction, I am much limiting my area on wide open conditions when I really don't have to.

Now as far as Ebonite goes, the new V2 Sweet or maybe even the Primetime seems to be the obvious pick, the only thing is Low R.G pearls don't usually go over with me well.  For some reason they're too oil sensitive for me(in the backend) and overpower the dry.  I've tried the Silver Streak Pearl, Retro Roto Pearl, Dynothane Thing, and Triple Threat all to fit into this hole of mine and none I really liked.  But having another solid reactive seems like medium condition overkill to me.  If anyone could steer me in the direction of what kind of cover-core match or ball I should goto to fit this slot I'd really appreciate it.  any takers?
