Has anyone thrown one back in the day? This ball goes way longer down the lane than you would expect for a ball that was advertised for oil even back then. Even at 800 grit scotch brite, I can easily use it on a medium house conditions and kill it. Even my friends remarked at how long and strong the ball is on the backend. This ball with polish is the best light oil ball I have ever thrown. I mean I am getting 1992 reactive resin length through the fronts with a more predictable reaction. It gets down the lane and has strong yet controllable arc. Was this ball really for oil back in 2000? It seems as if Ebonite (over) compensated for the Ebonite Riptide and Tombstone which would roll at your toes even on heavier conditions.
