Ebonite Sales

Anybody know out of the four companies, Ebonite, Columbia, Hammer, and Track..which company is selling the most bowling balls?

As a privately owned corporation they do not have to make their sales numbers known to the public. In general, they do not. Anything can change.

I would say it would be Hammer in the highend models.  Ebonite overall,  when one takes in all the tornado's, Bash's, Clash's, Maxim's.

Bottom line, all 4 lines seem to be doing really well.

I would have to say ebonite with the NV serise.  NV, Total NV, NVS and Complete NV.  I believe that would make ebonite the most selling.  i do agree that they also sell a ton of mid line performance like the clash.

I am not a huge Ebonite fan but I have to say that they have a lot of great stuff out with each company. I would have to say right now Ebonite is probably selling the most. Once Track and Columbia get a fuller line up then it could be a toss up. The question is how soon will they out grow their current plant?

If I had to guess, it would be:

1) Ebonite
2) Columbia
3) Hammer
4) Track

...if for no other reason than what was cited concerning sales of plastic balls. And, Ebonite and Columbia are the oldest of those four brands.

In our shop, Hammer was #1 in total ball sales.  Columbia was #2, and Ebonite was #3, for the month of January.

Keep in mind,   that all Hammer sales are basically mid price to highend models.  Where as some Columbia and Ebonite sales are in plastic and entry level models, as well as mid price and highend models.

Well, believe it or not, some people do not know that.  And I like the way ebonite is keeping the 4 brands.  
Now as for the sales.   All i am saying is this,  At this time, Hammer is doing extremely well.  Columbia is doing great with their highend models.  However the Scouts have fallen off.  Their plastics are selling well.  Ebonite is doing great in the mid range and entry level.  But some highend models have been sluggish.  Hoping that the Complete NV will change that.  The Rising did ok for us.

And the only reason i posted this, was that today my girl was updating the computor on January's ball sales.  And i was impressed that Hammer outsold both Columbia and Ebonite in our shop last month.  Again considering that we do not have any entry level or plastic models in Hammer.

Bingo!!!!  Yes i would agree with that.  however we did sell a few of the original Black widows.  And the BW pearl is still doing well.  And the Raw hammer line is still selling well.

Ebonite companies has about 70 percent of the market in total share, they are privetely owned by a family that owns other famous clothing chains. Billionaire's would be very nice guess on there net worth.

As far as ball sales go, our company has this order:
1.) Hammer
2.) Ebonite
3.) Columbia
4.) Track

The only reason I would have Ebonite at second is because of Plastic sales and mid performance balls.  Ebonite did well with the NV series but Hammer swept the sales with the Widow Series....it wasnt even close.  Given that Ebonite is over Hammer, I dont think they are too worried about the Widows selling better because that just money in their pocket.
