I'm not an ebonite user, but from what I see in my area, it is a great ball for the money. The pro shop I frequent is selling many of them. I think more than the hammer black widows.
An older friend of mine had to drop to 13lbs because of eye surgery. He is typically a 180 bowler & is now in the mid 190's even with 13#.
I bought a 14# one for my wife who is 160 to 165 normal average & her second time out with the ball shot a whopping 288. Got me wondering!

It really is one of the best balls on the market mainly because it is very versatile.

I have three of them and I can use them on almost any condition.

As long as the lanes aren't burnt.

I am in total agreement as I have currently have three.  I corresponded with someone at Ebonite last month and was led to believe that the pearlized version will be introduced in June.  I am not sure of the name but I believe it was the GamePlayer.

I believe the new ball is going to be the Playmaker not the GamePlayer

hmm... I wonder how big the difference in ball motion the Playmaker would have from the Angular One..

One of the top 5 balls out in the past year or two.

Get one...better yet get three you won't regret it!
