I found a nib ICE!!!!
« on: February 09, 2008, 11:31:31 PM »
I'm drilling it in a couple weeks to tame some jumpy outside boards at my home centre. Planning with a pin under bridge layout that has brough me succes with quite a few balls. I usually set the cg up so i can drill a fairly strong balance hole with that pin position but may just leave the cg in grip centre on this one. Anyone thrown the ICE with this layout?

Well i've tried leverage, high and weak pins on a few other balls with not as much success and i keep going back to this pin position. Ill go with it and see what happens.

Maybe the Killer Instinct Pearl sitting next to it in the shop will find a home with me too!!!

I have this ball. It's a good medium-light ball for me but even with the pin in a weak position, this ball is *not* so weak as to be used on a total dry condition. It's got a lot of punch for something that's supposed to be a weak piece.

I play this condition from 18-20 with my feet at the start of the night to anywhere from 25-28 during the 4th game and swing it to 5. So it shouldnt burn up early going through all that oil. My Unleashed and Machine dont so with a bit less flare this should have no problem with early energy loss

A little off topic but can can anyone tell me where to find a Killer Instinct drill sheet online? They dont have the old B.O.M.B drillsheets on the website like they used too.

Drilling it up Sunday, gonna go with the old school axis/leverage layout withe everything(pin,cg and hole) shifted down an inch to beef the reaction up a little. Should have a good chance of getting a look similar to my Triton Heat and Pulse back in the day on a house shot
