Seems like there has been a lot of Total NVs for sale on the board.... strange for such a new release. Anyone else notice this?

It could be that - we all know that no ball will match up with EVERY person, so because this ball is so popular, and so many people bought it, enough people will not match up with it, and sell it.

I've noticed that the same selllers bring them to the top (ttt) an obscenely large amount of times trying to troll the marketplace for the next used ball purchase.

As for the longevity of the product, ZERO issues after 50-ish games.  In fact, it appears to be getting stronger as time goes on with noticably less routine maintenance.

exact opposite around here...week by week more and more are on ball returns around my area...a few weeks ago in my Tuesday nite league, the pair next to me had 7 people tossing them...one entire team along with two from the other...Total NV's have infiltrated the bags around here more then the Absolute Inferno's, One's, Black Widow's, insert ball of month here when they were popular

Hehe I saw a 200 avg guy put up a 120 game with his TNV this week.  It definitely revolutionized pocket splits as we know it.

This happens will alot of new release balls. It does not mean there is anything wrong with the ball. I just think alot of people "expect" this ball to be the savior to their game and when it doesn't crush the rack on every shot, they don't like it. It is also not a heavy oil ball and was NOT marketed as a heavy oil ball. It can handle a fair amount of oil in box finish but I took a 4000 abralon pad to mine and it just woke itself up.. If you did want it for heavier oil volumes, take it down to 1000 abralon.. It will handle more oil then..

I also think people "give up" on a ball to quick without trying surface changes, hand position changes or whatever else they can try..

I wonder if that has anything to do with the uber-hype bombs?  People saying it is the best ball ever made?

It's definitely a good ball but it still seems like a bowling ball...  Still leaves 10 pins on otherwise decent shots.

You're not allowed to be anti-Total NV unless you've thrown one.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

I just bowled in the Storm Mixed Team Challenge this past weekend at White Plains Lanes and it was definitely the prominant ball at the tourney.  Of the 52 teams (260 bowlers), I estimate there must have been at least 100 Total NVs.

You know this stuff happens periodically.  At one time it was the One, at another time it was the Widow, now it's the Total NV.  It happens.  I'm sure it's a great ball, it just doesn't match up with EVERYone.    Fluffers can make any ball look bad, but the good bowlers I've seen with the Total NV?  They make it look like one of the best I've seen.
