My overtime has had time run out
« on: April 09, 2006, 05:01:25 PM »
i'm not sure what to do. Rev(my overtime) is not performing like his usual self. I always expect a snap on the backend it with it, and now i get and arc????Im not use to seeing that. I threw it on light, and expected the ball to snap...Not..it arced back into the pocket....why am i complaining? Cuz he's not performing on the conditions he's supposed to so what do i do?

I do, and i looked at the ebonite factory finish and they said the cover is 2000 abralon grit, well my teammate took a grey/green scotchbrite pad to it. The reaction is not the same in what i mean. When i asked em about it, the person said it should work and stay Very Very close to factory finish.

I have my own personal coach as well as pat.

I have an overtime and i dont think they are supposed to skid-flip. mines a nice solid arc to the pocket.

I guess....I'm jus goin off of how it used to react. And actually my new equipment plays no part in my knowing of the reaction because i throw my one, and barely throw my big one.

I clean my equipment correctly. Though i have only been bowling for a year i have picked up quite a lot in this short span of time. I won my One and Big One in a ball raffle. I coulda picked set but my coach told me to get them. They are both drilled with layout 2 from the ebonite drill sheet.

This is the recommended layout for most players that have known axis measurements
Drilling #2
Ball Reaction: Long and Strong
Suitable for: Most Styles and Lines
Flare potential: Large
Pin Placement: Place Pin 4 1/2 inches from PAP
Center of Gravity: The center of gravity placement may or may not fall inside the CG Area.  If it doesn’t then the balance hole location may need to be adjusted.
Mass Bias Placement: Place Mass Bias at a 45 degree angle to the right of the thumb hole.  If needed place balance hole over on the Vertical Axis Line and 2 inches down and drill back to negative side weight.  The bigger and deeper the hole is the more increased ball reaction.  Remember to keep the ball statically legal.

Actually a couple of people told me the same thing as my coach did and to change the cover on the big one to get a different reaction. I have noticed that i don't really use my one. I see two totally different reactions between the two, but u can always change the covers to get different reactions.

yeah, at times it seems like no one likes each other. I jus think once we got back on page with one anotha and people actually start competing and some spots are being takin away people will start to bowl and not talk so much. that my 2 cents.

What i mean is theres only 6 or 7. Every1 goes to tournament. when we get a lot of other players, who will challenge us for spots then everyone will start to bowl. When your spot on the team gets questioned then that'll make  you bowl, better in my opinoin anyway
