i just picked up a turbo xl off ebay i had bid on a couple of em cause i like the turbo x . Now sure ther are a ton of new balls out wyh buy a 12 year old ball and hope to score with it , probably because i dont think i am worth spending the new ball money on right now and as i said i love my turbo x,anyway i pick the ball up sunday night on our 38 foot flood 10 - 10 and proceed to shoot 267 first game with no warm ups ,( late arriving )this ball hits as hard if not harder than anything else i have and i know ball speed not with standing this ball does hit harder with not a lot of speed so my game is regressing looking for older less expensive equipment and trying to improve my delivery carrying three balls now ,ninja fury used off ebay 1993,new turbo xl 1994 pin in but still a great ball and a power groove teal for spares and dry lanes. finally think i am learning how to bowl now have to get consistent ,shot 267 first game and barely shot 600 what should have been a great night turned into a night with again one seemingly lucky game i still suck ,but i am noticing improvement and better success with the old stuff the turbo xl out performed my oracle hands down shot in hammond today on the aftermath of the pba shot still pretty good shot 243 with the turbo xl now i just have to figure how often and with what grit i need to sand it to keep it fresh
