Span Question
« on: May 01, 2007, 11:50:48 AM »
Hey guys:
I have had problems recently with getting rotations on my ball.  I'm 18 years old, and haven't had anything really changed in a couple of years.  I've lost a considerable amount of pin action.  It feels like there's no way that I can create revs.  I do know that my span feels quite short.  The last couple of joints on my fingers have space between them and the ball.  I know some space is ok, but I was just wondering if my problem could be caused by too short a span.  Thanks for all responces,
Zach

The span could be short. Being 18 odds are something has changed over a few years. It is very difficult to remedy the problem online without seeing a picture of your hand in the ball or something along that line. My suggestion would be to have a local pro shop operator check it and see how your fit is.

i had somewhat the same problem and my manager told me that my backswing was getting too high so i couldn't get the leverage on the ball and when i toned down my back swing i saw the revolutions i had been missing and i'm scoring a lot better, just from my personal experience though
