What would you recommend?   For when there's just a bit too much oil for the Innovate and it gets squirrelly.  The Exceed or the Source.  Read several reviews mentioning both to be a good ball up for the Inno.  I am not adverse to sanding the Source, but I have 7 missions ( from the 3.0 to the red) already.

I am surprised nobody mentioned the Champion or Challenge.  Champion has a little more backend than the Challenge but both should handle a little more oil than the Innovate without chewing up the oil pattern like a Pivot.  To use the Pivot, you need a ton of oil the first 20 feet of lane.  Otherwise, hope you enjoy the ball rolling out and hitting like a marshmellow.  You would need to take the cover up to 2000 or 3000 to make it more usable unless you are very speed dominate.

Just goes to show you what works for some people wont work for others.  EX:  The demo we had here a couple weeks ago; lanes had a lot of oil in the front 20+ feet.  So, of course the Pivot was the popular choice over the 4 squads of people.  Couple people got their Pivots drilled BUT they bowl at a different center.  On the fresh conditions, at box finish, the Pivot read the lane way too quickly when Me and my 500+ rev rate were getting balls like a Violent Eruption down the lane pretty easily.  My son left flat 7s all night and got pretty frustrated.  Put his Pivot on a spinner and hit it with 2000 and Rough Buff over the top.  Ball was cleaner through the fronts but was still aggressive from the midlane all the way through the pins and shot 238 his first game without leaving a single 7 pin (left hander).
