The NV Madness
« on: January 24, 2007, 09:18:32 AM »
This thread is in regards to this thread located in the wanted/for sale section where some yahoo is asking $800 for a used NV:

I was told tonight.. if you have a PBA card, you can buy one for $200 through the PBA.

The NV was a prototype of the Total NV... basically it was just a demo ball/things to come companion piece. Theres nothing truly special about it. Think about it... if Ebonite liked what it had with the NV... they would have made more of them & actually sold them. But the Total NV is the superior piece of equipment. I'm not saying the ball sucks cause I have no clue so don't think i'm trashing the ball... but if the ball was the real deal, I'm pretty sure they would have actually been produced for mass consumption. And I just don't want to see people get ripped off. But if you have $800 to blow on a used ball... have fun I guess.

Under 300 were made for demos. If you bought 4 cases of Total NV's, you would get one (pro shops basically). Ebonite then told them to do whatever you want with them. Ebonite will still make the NV to complete orders with the purchased cases of Total NVs & the PBA.

You can't even buy Elite for that much brand new! I think you'll be getting ripped off buying the NV for 800$ used! IMHO! lol

Keep one thing in mind.  If these balls were SOOOOOOO good, Ebonite would put them into production.
