Hahaha.. Remember that time when Buddies announced Ebonite's new pricing system? Well, this is it. 15% cheaper means 15$ more than it was before! I actually kind of saw this coming, too.

I think the One goes for more now than when it was new. Odd, as most other re-issues go for less.

Ebonite's pricing structure puts a MAJOR premium on internet sales of the premium balls. Hope it achieves their goal, whatever they thought it was.

When the "discount" price plus drilling comes to $200, ....

In pro shops this should sell at the Raid/RXS300/Kinetic/Widow/Rival Price Point.

Let's see what the other online distributors sale the ball for. I can't be 145 bucks. Who is going to purchase it at that price point when there are so many other options out there that roll as good,or better, and surely have more durable covers.

I have the One, and while it is about as predictable as church on Sunday, it is not my first choice out of the bag with all of the new balls produced since it. My Gamebreaker, Kinetic, Black Widow, and Cell all get the nod over the One, and I paid less for all four of those balls.

The bowlingball.com price is for The One originals, 16# only, which they had left over from the previous release that never sold. If you go there, you will see where they only have 16# available. If it was for the new release, they would have all the weights on there, plus at this point, it would be a pre order.

The Buddies price for the new release of The One is about 20 bucks cheaper than the Risings....

Having fun selling them at 145 you will sell about half of what should sell.

I manage a local shop i get the best price possible from my dist. and The One costs me about $15 to 20 less than it orig. did and we moved it down from $219 drill to $199 drilled.  Price of ball is cheaper period and yes Ebonites pricing policy doesn't really allow you to see that but i assure you they are being sold for less, basically if it were same price now as it orig. was it would sell for price of Complete NV or other such top end ball which on buddies is $159.95
