According to available specs, The Clash looks like they put the whirlwind/crossfire core under a longer, stronger cover.  This ball, if it is longer and stronger than the WW, is going to be an awesome ball if it is in the WW price range.

I was really amazed at the WW, my pro shop driller told me this was the ball for me.  He was dead right with this one.  I have the WW drilled pin over ring finger w/ cg stacked below and it is extremely versatile and responds exceptionally to various hand position changes and speeds.

I can make this ball arc lazily to the pocket or go long and flip depending on my release.  It has excellent carry from all angles, too.  I can't believe that Ebonite discontinued it so quickly.

My next ball purchase will most likely be the Clash.

Clash actually has a Stronger/Earlier cover than the Whirlwind.  Looks like it'll handle long/heavy volume house patterns at an affordable price point in a symmetric ball.

xxxcel cover is super strong and very early, maybe another cheap oiler that will sell alot, my DSM friend says the Game Breaker will sell as many as they make of them.

The one cover and a V2 core a no brainer that will be a great ball.

Yes, the XXXcel cover makes a very good oil ball. With some surface and a lower RG, this should be one of the best price/performance ratios on the market. Either a hot seller or one of the most underrated balls of this decade
