I had been contemplating drilling one of these up since they first came out but didn't have the chance until I picked a NIB up this week for $80 bucks..

I was able to use it for the first time last night in league on fairly heavy oil. I shot 201 280 203 = 685. I missed 3 single pin spares or my series would have been 30-35 pins better. Oh well.. I drilled it pin above ring cg out and the bomb just right and down for the thumb hole.. With this drilling I get a very smooth arcing type reaction, which is what I wanted out of this ball..

I highly recommend this ball to anyone considering it..

Jim you would also like the xxcel i just got it sharper backend on same patterns and the xcel pearl on dryer patterns but take off factory surface on pearl. I have shined my xxcel and xcel and did not lose many boards of hook gained another 5 feet and now more pronounced hook pattern still hard arcing.

I should have a Big Time by the middle of next week also should be a great ball from what i have seen at my bowl. It seems we always like the same stuff like the dirty bomb from lane 1 and other stuff you have posted about. We also did not like the same WMB i bought from you also lol it did not hit as well as i thought even with a different drilling.

In comparison to the Ultimate Inferno is the read and roll farther down the lane for the Xcel? I have both undrilled for a guy and thinking of going Ultimate for earlier read and the Xcel for farther down. I think he would like the XXcel better for later turn but i don't think he wants to wait.
