XXXcel or XXcel?
« on: December 22, 2005, 03:22:36 AM »
I was looking for a ball to replace my heavyier conditions ball. i currently have a Stor Xtreme with a roll drill on it. pin center with the cg swung out to about the 4 or 5 o'clock postion. i need a ball to move similar to the capabilities of this one. i was thinking about the XXXcel or XXcel. i would like to purchase the XXXcel but i have heard you NEED oil for this ball. what would you recommend? if other balls/companies seem to fit this discription better, please, "im all ears."

thank you

For heavy oil, yes...XXXcel. If what you see is more heavy side of medium, then I use a XXcel, myself, for that condition.

Lately, I got a Hawg Wild for med to heavy and it takes the heavy side of medium just as good as XXcel.

Neither do that well in true heavy soup, sorry to say.

Hope this helped in some way.

What they said ^ also the xxcel has better carry down because it doesn't react as early as the xxxcel. The xxcel is for more versatile lane conditions.
