Your Experiences with the Pearl Xcel?
« on: April 12, 2006, 11:19:26 AM »
Just picked up a couple NIB Cheap for myself and was wondering how the masses had them laid out and what were your experiences good and bad?

We never really sold many at the shop when they first hit the market back then.

Got mine January last year.  Drill pin above ring finger.  Hate it at first, very uncontrollable.

I decided to take to polish off with 800 grit sand.  Polish again with Powerhouse factory polish.  WOW! It's like a difference ball.  I found it good with medium oil with a clean or spotty backend.   It could handle a bit of carry down but if too much it wouldn't move.  I've to open up a bit for the ball to have full potential.  Mostly is from 15 to 10 and it came back strong.

Hope this help.
