What year did this ball come out?  Any cover/core info. would be appreciated.

do you mean the navy one? around 1991, bulb core, weak cover.
turbo x was 100x better. xcalibur was better. any other ball was better than that boat anchor. if you mean that one. the big blue is much newer and better.

Yes Navy.  Thanks bstone.

I have one from Marc McDowell when he was on Hammer staff and yes old Faball reactives were poor why he switched to Ebonite's staff.  Just wanted to know what year.

thinking again about that, the navy had the same core as the black, blue, & burgundy urethane hammers did, but didn't work as well with the cover. the purple reactive had a bulb core and was better but still weaker than others of the same period (90-92)
