Red Hammer
« on: July 13, 2005, 06:00:10 AM »
Okay, so I picked my ball up from the pro shop today (plug and re-drill), and an older guy was there getting a new ball (moving down in weight).  He had a Faball Red Hammer - probably has about 5 billion games on it.  He left the ball there for the pro shop to dispose of.  Owner gave it to me - guess I have something to play with on my new spinner!

Consider yourself lucky to get one of those vintage Hammers. I picked up a NIB red faball hammer off eBay about 4 months ago...........awesome ball for severe wet/dry and over/under conditions. I think that an arsenal is not complete without a Faball urethane solid (such as the Red) and a Faball pearl urethane (such as the blue pearl). They are an awesome combo for summer and/or spotty conditions.......enjoy!!!!

I already have a 14.5 red faball hammer, but the span on the 15 is just about right for my teammate.

Can oil be extracted out of a urethane ball?  Or, what is the best grit to use to resurface?

This ball is much smoother than mine (also bought NIB on ebay sometime last year).
