Trackfreak=Rip Off Artist (Updated)
« on: May 24, 2003, 07:07:57 PM »
Well, after messaging back and forth for a couple days trying to work out something for the 2 balls I traded for a "New" Brunswick 3 ball roller it seems the effort to make things right has stopped. If you click on this thread http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=22549&ForumID=26&CategoryID=5
you see the original transaction, notice this feedback from Trackfreak himself "this guy is a great seller to deal with.

ships fast!!!!
great communication!!
balls as described if not better!

i recieved the voodoo and hex from him"

Trackfreak claims he sent the bag and I just never recieved it. His attitude is basically too bad for you, but I sent it and I'm not paying twice for the deal because you never got it. I have made every effort to make some other deal with him to get this over with, the last one I was willing to accept about $79.00 worth of compensation for 2-balls that I was selling for $95 plus $30 shipping, not good enough I guess.

I'm done with this person, I have accepted the fact that this person has no class or honor to back his deals. I have read another thread about his dealings with jkiser. Please express caution when dealing with anyone that asks you to ship to this address:

Bill *******
161 Highland Avenue
Torrance, Ct. 06790

E-mail: daisydew@optonline.net

Below is the original post:

Beware when dealing with Trackfreak, he did not honor an agreement for a trade with me, and apparently from other comments in the Track equipment board also scammed other people. After giving him the benefit of the doubt for weeks I recieved this message from him;

ive been to the poastal office and they said without a tracking # they cant do anything.

they also told me parceal post is the wrost place to send items out. thats were most of thier items will get delivered wrong or lost between station to station.

so by know i absoulutly sure the bag is lost.

i also am willing to take responsibility of this.
you ship the balls fast to me with a tracking #.

i tryed to save money shipping and in the process lost the bag.
so im open and am wondering if youre looking for any certain balls or bowling equiptment right now?

i want to make this right.

please get back to me.

He will not reply to any messages, and apparently was trying to sell this same bag to someone else on the board. That poster sent the money and never got the bag either.

Don't get scammed by this worthless con-artist.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with this person. I also have had problems with him. After having my money for almost 3 weeks and me slamming him on this board. He sent me an email last Thursday with a UPS tracking number on it. I had agreed to buy a blue Track 3 ball roller for $75 shipped.

Is that the bag you where expecting?

I have no idea what to expect when I open the box that he is sending me..

Trackfreak, here is the message I sent you on 5-15-03 that I never got a response to.

Well, I think we've given it about as long as possible to arrive and still no bag. I was asking $40 for each ball and it cost $33 to ship them. If you want to make things right I would definately appreciate compensation for the balls. If you are going to stiff me then just say so and I'll move on with my life. (I don't like waiting around for something that will never happen). At any rate, for now I'm assuming that you just made a bad decision with shipping and got hosed by the shipping company. Let me know if you would like to send me a money order for the value of the balls. Hopefully you had nice success with them and won enough to cover them. I'll look for your reply.

I've given you the benefit of the doubt all along and honored my end of the deal. I have made over 15 deals on this board and never had a problem except with you. I would not have made this public if I had gotten a response, even if it was that you were not going to make things right. However, after reading of others who are having similar problems with you I feel it is my responsibility to let others know to beware of dealing with you. This is a great place to get good deals with others who love bowling. Someone who ruins this irritates me to no end. If you choose to correct this I will ammend this post, otherwise I suggest others express caution if they choose to deal with you.

Trackfreak,

I will also take back any negative posts that I have placed here as long as the track 3 ball roller is in excellent conditon like you told me. I am not happy at your email response times, but as long as I get what I paid for, thats OK.

I would highly recommend you answer emails in a more timely manner. It sounds like thats the problem most people are having with you.

Word of advise to all-

Never, never , never, never, ever ship anything parcel post, it has a good chance of getting lost , and takes forever.

Use UPS and you will always have a tracking # for your customer.

Looking for Buzzsaws , I have all the current line in stock, as well as used and discontinued.

Here is a link to another couple of satisfied(sarcasm) customers who have dealt with Trackfreak:

Trackfreak, do you plan on ever sending me my money or the bag? I will bump this each day until I hear from you via PM. Tomorrow I will post your Name and address, the next day your phone number, and if I do not hear from you with plans to pay me you'll be hearing from a friend of mine via certified mail.

Trackfreak,

I have NOT received the bag yet. Its still on the way according to UPS. As soon as I receive it and open the box and the bag is in the condition you stated, I will post something on this forum. Until then, things are still the same. There was no reason it took so long for you to ship the bag, period..

Communication makes everybody happy.  That goes right to the top.  That is why people are upset about the changes on the website.  It is because deception is perceived even if it never happened.  If things were better communicated and out in the open then people understand and get over things.

Just my Opinion.
