Friday night scratch league: 266, 244, 148 = time to put the NM back in the bag...LOL....groan.

Looks like your line dried up a bit

It hard to put the NM back into the bag after throwing the first two games like that.

the ball lived up to it's name.....ah! not at the pins - to the bowler.
Oh, well it happens to just about every bowler, sorry it had to ruin a nice series.

Same thing has happened to me a bunch of times. 2 good games and one where it felt like I used someone else's equipment!! LOL..

i couldnt carry anything the last game.

The really sad thing is that I had to get 2 strikes and a 9 count in the 10th to shoot the 148! I switched to the Doom in the 4th frame and even it came up high on me 3 x's. So, I went back to the NM, then back to the Doom in the 10th with a line that worked.

Oh well, it's ONLY a game....right?

I did the reverse....started out Thursday night with a 168 then followed with a 213 and a 205. Tried the No Mercy in the first game, just couldn't get anything going. Switched to the Black Widow and did better. That was for a 195 average which is my average so I can't complain. And my team won all seven points so that's really what matters.
