300 game record by youngest brother-sister duo
« on: November 11, 2006, 03:46:40 PM »
Last Saturday at Brunswick Zone Naperville, Illinois. Nicole and Alex Rodak, ages 17 and 15 respectively, each bowled perfect 300 games. The games happened within 30 minutes of each other.

The United States Bowling Congress believes they are the youngest sister-brother duo to roll 300 games.

According to the USBC, this has happened only five times previously and always by adults. Only once has it occurred on the same day, once again by adults.

Each was using a new bowling ball for the first time, according to their father and bowling coach, Dave Rodak.

I believe Nicole used a Raw Hammer Doom, and Alex used a Raw Hammer Pain.

Congrats to them both.

Thats some great bowling.  I really doubt though that they are only the sixth brother sister duo to bowl 300s.  I could see the same day thing, and the fact that they are the youngest, but not the 6th all time.  Just thinking of all the women professional bowlers, that, especially in the age of such high scoring, almost certainly had their brother also throw a 300.

We will have to check that out.  I think the record is correct.  How many brother aand sister bowlers hit 300's?  I can't see there being that many more than 6.

Another thing that's awesome is the Pain and Doom that were in there hands.

Thanks for the info Rich!
