Another Hammer?????

This is being thrown around on the Hammer Boards.  On the verticle add that cycles through there is a picture that shows the riddler with a puzzle piece saying "all will be revealed" on June 16 or something of that nature.  Hammer Jigsaw maybe, could the rumors be true......

Is this ball anything like "The Chalk" that they released to TNBA bowlers?

Looked Navy Blue to me in the Videos I have seen but Eric listed it as Black and Cream.

The new Seige by Brunswick, the Sauce, Rising SE, Jigsaw, Virtual Gravity..... all of these balls have very similar motions. The fact is, that ball motion matched up very well across many conditions especially heavy oil.  Virtual had a slight edge in sales, mainly because of the hideous color scheme people couldn't recognize from a mile away made it very recognizable, and partially because of it's pro staffs' success with it.  Don't understand why people beat each other up between companies.  Storm had a hit, congrats. That's what everyone's aiming for, and what the customers should want as well, equipment that does something special.

Sounds like hammer is trying to create a Virtual Gravity...core numbers are nearly identical.  Description is exactly what a VG does.

Just a hint, employees of one company should never, ever bad mouth another company's products (or hint that they're stealing another company's idea).  You run the risk of 1) incurring the rath of your current employer, and/or 2)  limiting your job prospects in the industry when you and your current employer part ways.

I'm just telling it as i see it...no accusations, no bad blood...could you blame them for trying...i mean seriously, when the black widow came out, guess what every company tried to make reaction wise?  Happens all the time...ill go back into my hole now as mmcfarland asked...

I agree, it's a just a good observation. If anyone but someone affiliated with Storm would have said it, it would have been agreed with. I'm a ball whore, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick this up, even if it's similar to the VG which I would never see enough oil to use.

No argument from me! Before Storm/RotoGrip had finished dominating the first half of the PBA season everyone was working on WTH are they doing right? As to the 500/4000 post by another - hey, everyone has to get the ball round and smoother quickly so they initially use a rough grit. The only question after that is do you leave any rough under the smooth or not during the final finish - DUH!

Have you ever bowled a PBA event this past season?  Do you understand PBA took out almost all the volume on all patterns?

It maybe best you stick to your site and work on having the balls perform different.  Every video you post look the same, ball hook from everywhere. If you own a pro shop it maybe not a good decision to latch on one manufacture because once they go down hill you'll be stuck in your hole

Please do go back into your hole.

You need to shut your hole!
All Britton did was point out the coverstock finish is the same as the Virtual and the rogue cell!

DanR,

Go away, far far away.  It is people like you that are ruining this sight.  Why did you find it necessary to come out of left field and flame someone for an observation?

Back to the subject at hand, it's nice companies are telling us how the covers are finished and the steps that need to be taken to get it back to OOB.
