Big Block Diesel- What surface?
« on: January 23, 2005, 12:50:59 AM »
Just picked up one of these bad boys and have been told to get rid of the factory polish and go from there. I've heard taking it down to as much as 600. Just curious what surface most have had sucess with. I'm a tweener who shoots down and in on a long oil pattern. Have a Diesel Particle drilled stacked and I'm gonna try this one label leverage. Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
Spike

Haven't heard anyone say anything good about the OOB finish. They all said it makes the ball "squirty". Since my local house puts out a flood, and a long flood at that, was thinking it would have to be taken down. Guess it wouldn't hurt to try it in box condition and see what happens? Just don't try it during position round, huh? Thanks for the reply.
