Black Widow and clear grips

I loveee the BW. I got two drilled, one for med-oil, and other for med-dry.
I am getting another one in couple days, $109 free shipping, cannot beat that. I will drill it for med-heavy condition.

I use the clear finger tips and dark color slug, so I can’t see the color of the grips going down the lane. Just wondering what you think? Is this a good/bad habit?

I always use Black grips in every ball.  I did try orange grips in my BW to see how the ball rolled because it's a black ball.  I just took them out and put black ones back in.


I don't like seeing the grips while the ball is rolling.  With the Black grips it's very difficult to see no matter what color the ball is.

Now the Logo's don't seem to matter to me.

Hello Mr.Brian Voss,he too marks out all of his labels.I have actually seen him do it before he was about to bowl.

I think Jeff Carter does that too, he uses the clear grip, not sure if he covers the logos up.

It is a personal preference.  I alos don't like to see anything going down the lane, besides the ball.  I even camouflage the logos so I can't see them either. Its different, but I just like seeing the ball and reaction, not stuff spinning around on the ball.  Like I said though, everyone is different.
