Black Widow Bite vs Anger
« on: April 11, 2008, 02:54:15 PM »
I was looking to get one of these balls for Nationals.  I would get both drilled for a smooth, predictable hook.  Can someone tell me the differences between the two? Which is stronger overall?

The Bite naturally wont be very smooth, because of the core having a flip block attatched, it will have more flip on the backend with any drill. The Anger should give you a better smooth transition on the backend and will carry like crazy. Both balls are strong, it just depends on where you want the ball to be strong, if you want backend, the Bite is it. If you want more mid-lane and recovery, still with a strong backend, the Anger is the way to go.

For me, the Anger can handle more oil than my Bite can. Also I agree the Bite is more backend, the Anger is more overall hook, and earlier hook and movement.

Both are great balls as a one two punch though. Shine both up, and it's also great, but that's another story............
