Probably because it's a light load ball and it does get good length before turning over. it's not really a skid/flip but it does move more on the backend than on the heads or midlane were most Particles want to grab.

Mine was drilled pin above ring 45 deg. so it should have promoted more roll and length. maybe that's why it looked angular to me.
