Burn - Over/under?

For any of you that found the Burn to be over/under, is there a surface you found that helps with this? My Burn is drilled 5" pin to PAP, pin over bridge. I can see this ball as a great fit between my Virtual Energy and T-Road Pearl, if I can find the right surface. Thanks.

what surfaces have you tried? i would think 1500 wet sand should smooth it out

Box, 4000 polish (Snake Oil, not Ebonite's polish), 2000 polished, 4000 abralon.

I think you're just using the wrong ball. The Burn is strong, but if you have a wet/dry, a pearl will exacerbate it and cause over/under. You might need a solid resin with P2000 grit finish.

Knocking the polish off will tame down the reaction but you might be defeating the purpose of the ball which is to play deep. Charlest is spot on here as you may need a solid for your purposes.

I have not had any over / under problems with this ball.  If I have any problems it is that this ball sees friction and wants to move now.

Your not him. Just because you don't have any over under doesn't mean he doesn't.

I have changed the surface with a 2000 & FF polish and also using a 1000 & FF polish. I felt that the 4000 with FF polish was also a little to over/under for me too. My Burn is now at 2000 with FF polish & I like the ball better and use it quite often in my later leagues now.

I am more speed dominant player and I used to throw the toxic and the psycho they both hadsame finish as the burn.  I had to make a surface adjustment to 1000 abralon and then put brunswich factor finish polish on it and they were both beasts took care of the problem straight away.

I would have never drilled the Burn weaker AND pin up it's too strong and too angular of a ball. You end up with a ball that's too strong off the friction and too long in the oil.
