Cell Pearl vs Jigsaw
« on: August 02, 2009, 04:29:45 AM »
If the drillings were the same, How different are these balls? I have a CP and I want something a little stronger. Would the Jigsaw work?

The CP vs Jigsaw is not even a fair comparision. The Jigsaw is worlds stronger, a better comparision for the cell pearl might be the sting or burn or something like that, the Jigsaw is a different class!

Hmm..Lets see what I have in this bag...some virtual gravity, some hot sauce, a liberator, and a saw.. how can I loose....

....HG-300(2006 w/Desert Heat)...299 (03/15/09 w/Agent Orange)...HS-776 (Hot Sauce Pearl & Ebonite Magic)

I agree.
I saw the Cell Pearl was comparable to the Hot Sauce and the Jigsaw was more comparable to the Rogue Cell.

The Jigsaw (or the Rogue Cell) should handle more oil than the Cell Pearl. They should be both be a step up from the Cell Pearl.

The Jigsaw is in a class by itself. There isn't a better ball on the market now.

Ok I gotta ask what makes this ball in a class by itself?  I have not been impressed yet by this ball or have seen anything amazing

x2

doesnt mean this ball doesnt help you score well.... but so far the "look" or reaction down the lane isnt very impressive.

Ah!! That changes the entire statement:  "in my book"!

What have you compared it to?

That is my signature block. Has been for a long time. It doesn't especially apply to you or what you said. It means what it says, literally. It's only meant to make you think about what you said and the perspective from which you are talking.

haven drilled 4 jigsaws up and thrown 2 of them i can say im not at all impressed with this ball yeah it hooks but there are alot of balls on the market that are equal to this ball if your wanting something stornger than the cell pearl and want to stay with roto then look at the rogue cell although i'm not totally impressed with it either i personally would look into the nomad solid from what i've seen ball is underrated and lives up to the hype

Is the Jigsaw a pearl or a solid? All I keep hearing is Burst Reactive 5/4 coverstock ??? Is it a Hybrid? I do want something a little strong than my CP, I am trying to stay away from solids. The one house I bowl at seems to like pearlized balls pin under the fingers.(wood house) Not just me ,but many of the higher averaging guys as well.Thanks. I just don't want to drop the money and not be happy.

Been using a Magic Touch alot lately, it would be stronger earlier than CP and give you good length and nice back end reaction.

Jigsaw is a solid, the 5/4 thing if you read up on the website or watch the video is the finish on the coverstock where they finish the ball with 500 abralon and then skip to 4000 abralon for the final step.

The Jigsaw is very strong and rolly, and even with polish the ball is a bit of a monster, but it caters to the lesser handed bowlers more than the heavy handed, its going to be similar to the Virtual Gravity in match ups with the difference being the Jigsaw being somewhat stronger overall and earlier.

It always cracks me up when someone says they have drilled up 4 or 5 of a certain new ball....

Now what really cracked me up was the comment about the Nomad solid....

Somehow I don't feel comfortable taking advice from someone who writes using no caps...no common's,  and no periods...

A Nomad solid.....    Your kidding right...

BTW   School starts in a few weeks....
