I'm no expert or anything, but it looks like something that would give you good length and a nice strong backend..

The reason why I ask is because I have trouble using it on fresh lanes. I really have to slow my ball down and that kills me...then during transition it doesn't hook as much...I some time get a better hook from my fired up.

That looks pretty close to a label layout for that ball. It should just be giving you a smooth arc. They(hammer) says good for med oil with dry backends. I will send you an e-mail with all my hammer stuff pics the subject line will be bowling ball pics so that you know its from me

This type of layout will go long and arc but if there is friction on the lane you can open up the shot. On a fresh shot this would be a little tough to use
unless you are will to change the surface. It also all depends if you have a low or high rev rate.

Mine is driled to go long and snap.

Im more of a down and in type player...I have a stroker style...I stand about the middle dot or at times 5 boards to the right of the middle dot and I like to throw it out to the outside of the last hash mark about 5 boards from the right...thats pretty much the best way I could describe it...Please help me out...I would like to find the right Layout for my game...what do you suggest.

I never liked my widow at 4000 grit, too long, too snappy.I've used mine at 500-2000 depending what I want.the ball still goes long but the backend is insane.if I bowled on wood lanes then I think 4000 would be about right but I bowl on Brunswick synthetics.
