Hey guys deciding on getting an ebonite pivot or absolut hook for heavy oil need somthing to move earlier and have carry still.

SVStar... I have thrown both of these and the Hook is a little earlier with a strong continuation in the backends and the Pivot is about 1 foot longer with a little more in the backend...

I throw Hammer exclusively, but when trying the Pivot at our Demo event, I was impressed with the Pivot. We sold 5 Pivots right after our Demo event, so this ball definitely rolls pretty good.

Either way, you can't go wrong with both balls....

I my opinion there is nothing thats out right
now that is a better ball for oil then the
Ebonite Pivot.

That depends what you are looking for, strong in hard arch and continuation - HYPER CELL ------ more angular back end - Mastermind

I'm on the bubble for this, but I'm debating between the Pivot and the Black Widow Assassin. I'm really torn between the two, as both are in the mid-range price range, even though the Pivot is a high performance ball.

Michael, as you've thrown the Pivot, have you had a chance to roll the BW Assassin? If so, how would you compare the two?

Bradl.... The Assassin is much longer than the Pivot & angular down the lane. If you want a heavy oil ball, then the Pivot would be my recommendation over the Black Widow Assassin.

The new Deadly Aim by Hammer is the version of the Pivot from Hammer. For me these too balls are so close to the roll... So it would be a preference if you want the Pivot or Deadly Aim.
