Finally drilled my No Mercy and Toxic
« on: December 27, 2006, 03:57:51 AM »
I finally drilled my No Mercy and Toxic. I told me driller to go with layout #1 but he as quite hesitant, the suggested I put the Hart on the right side of the thumb but I read alot of post suggesting to keep in on your track. So I told him to leave it on the track so he suggested keeping it close to the thumb and layout number #1. Can you please check out the layout in the picture and tell me if it is layout #1, I looks like it but I know nothing about laying out a ball, if not what type of reaction should I expect from this layout?

And for my Toxic I asked for a flip type reaction. A bit of length and alot of flip. What do you think of the layout on my Toxic, Is it exactly what I was looking for. I haven't had a change to bowling with my new balls yet only because I just got back off vacation and still unpacking, Im hoping to give it a shot late tonite, and I just want to know what Im getting into.

If you can't fix your game, then I suggest beating it with a HAMMER!!!

I agree w/ DEAD about the NM.  It looks a little closr to your PAP to be Drilling #1.  You should see an arcing motion with this layout, or possibly a hook-set motion.  Neither have extremely strong backend

The No Mercy, without knowing the pin/pap , one can't say if it's #1,or #7, can't look at a pic and tell where your pap is, so you'd know better than we will. Either way, it seem to be the strong drill.

AZ is right, I jumped to a pretty big assumption.  If this is a #1 drilling your PAP has to be quite a bit over.

You NM is drilled very simialr to mine. My PAP is 5 over 1/2 up and my NM is a very, very hard reving, arcing ball. It bulldozes its way into the pocket and has already given me a sanctioned 300 (2 weeks after drilling it). In fact, my first 2 practice games were 258,300.

For my release this drilling gives an excellent midlane read and then an aggressive, flipping arc that makes me feel like Tommy Jones....LOL.

I only hope your reaction is similar to mine. If it is you'll be very happy!

My No mercy is drilled the same way with the HART that close to the thumb, very strong.  i had a 300 the 2nd game out of the box, and a 299 2 weeks later.  I think you will be very happy....
