Would you say that these two balls are about the same?

Heat xtreme has a stronger cover and is a bit earlier, but the Rebel has a bit stronger core so it should have a little more overall motion.
If you had them drilled exactly the same, fairly similar
If you had them drilled and surfaced differently, then both could be in bag

If I drilled one of these and added an Ebonite Game Breaker MVP, do you think that would be a good 1-2 combo.

The Rebel solid is a great predictable motion piece IMO
I would go with it over the xtreme because I don't have a need for a strong cover like that
the GB2 that has been the best so far IMO is the phenom.
both at factory finished and polished
But it is sorta similar motion to the rebel solid, just stronger overall
I would take a look at the sideswipe solid
Its a longer version of the GB2, still predictable, but a strong arcing motion
However, that's just my opinion based on my game
If you can get a deal on the pieces you mentioned, then go for it
depending on lanes conditions, I would lay them out differently so you have a gap in ball shape and motion
