Hammer Sales Question
« on: January 30, 2013, 12:59:18 PM »
As Hammer Reps, I am under the impression that you will get the newer equipment before the WWRD.  Is there a rule about selling the test ball you are given?  Or do you get stuff for sale before the WWRD?

I have been on staff with 3 ball companies, including the one in question. Each company had a strict policy to NOT resell any equipment that we would receive as part of our staff contract. If the company would have found out that we were selling our undrilled equipment, we would have been terminated from our agreement immediately.

Thanks, that is what I thought.  Our pro shop guy has his First Blood in the pro shop window with a price sticker on it.  There could be some extenuating circumstances that I don't know about, and I wouldn't call him out on it, but I was kind of curious about it.

Just because your pro shop guy has the First Blood, doesn't mean that he is a staff member. I have one in my pro shop for sale, and I'm not on staff. I am an Ebonite International Gold Pro Shop. As part of my yearly fee, I get early release balls from companies that fall under the Ebonite umbrella. I am free to do as I wish with these balls.

My guess is that your pro shop guy is also a Gold pro shop.

Some companies send out seed balls to sell as a promotional item before the ball releases, it's prob that. We got one in our shop early to sell. Gets people excited about new releases.
