Hammer Spike
« on: February 21, 2005, 02:24:28 AM »
What would be the closest current ball from any manufacturer to the Hammer Spike?  I have a Bowl America Patriot - Spike core with Reaper coverstock.  It was my most controllable ball, but I've moved down in weight and BA only has 16lb available.  I'd like to find something comparable.

Spike pearl - weaker version but same type of shape as Lane one Carbide bomb pearl or cherry bomb but they could handle much more oil. Brunswick Battle zone bullet would match cover strength if you can find one and has similar hook/shape. Skid/Flip (Brunswick Punisher maybe or Power groove pearl)

Had both for a while loved the pearl but can be over/under nightmare on tougher conditions. Particle was ok nothing special.
