Heavy Oil Ball
« on: November 24, 2007, 02:54:12 AM »
Im looking to get a heavy oil lane ball to go along with my medium oil. Im looking at the anger and resurgence right now, but I am open to suggestions, other brands included.

I would personally look no further than the Anger..  The ball is fantastic, and at its Mid Price point, it is one of the best buys out there..  I have had mine a month or less and it has paid for itself twice over.

A friend of mine on my team has a #13 anger(he didnt know it would come with a generic core) So id assume with the proper weight of #14 and the correct core it would hook much stronger?

The Anger is the best bang for the buck!  This ball is great on oil!

BTM is a great magazine and I really like their ball reviews.  However, they blew the review of the Anger.  They gave the Anger a 48 hook rating.  Sure they gave it 9's on heavy oil but a 48 hook rating?  They gave the NM a 54.  I'm sorry but I feel the Anger can handle the same amount if not more oil than the NM.
