Hot Sauce initial impressions
« on: February 25, 2009, 03:15:50 AM »
I received and drilled my Hot Sauce I won from the drawing. Pin is outside and above my ring, with the cg under my ring. This makes the layout about a 4 1/2 x 5, no hole.

I bowled league last night for the first time in 6 weeks. I've been away on "business". Anyway, the Hot Sauce is very aggressive on the back of the lane. The motion is similar to my Wrath Dead Flush with alittle earlier read. I think it would be really good at 4K Abralon, but I'll leave it in box condition for right now.

Carry was okay. It would be much better on a lighter shot than ours. I have to slow down my ball speed some to get the ten out repeatedly when they are fresh.

I'm thinking of drilling a Sauce to compliment it, but haven't committed to it yet. I've got 3 or 4 balls that I'd like to drill and I'm having difficulty narrowing it down to one..

Having had both balls, and being that your and my initial impressions of the Hot Sauce are earily similar, i would highly suggest the sauce. Both hit and carry was better than the hot sauce. I'm not bashing the hot sauce by any means, but the original was just that good. Great ball with lots of hook, hit, and carry. you'll love it.

yep throwing a used Sauce Matt sold me and a new one I had bought, have one dulled in box and one at 1k then polished.

They are smooth and strong but seem to lose some back end pop with games on them, so cleaning all the time will be a big issue imo.

The more I throw it, the better it gets.  I was on the same pair last night as Tuesday night.  It seems the cover needed a couple of games to break in.  It is reading the midlane alittle better with each game.

while i have not thrown the hot sauce(yet anways), i do agree with how the cover may need some games or so to break in. after i had a few games on my sauce, it really started to come alive even more.

Well I got a good set in with the Hot Sauce. Drilled 4 x 4, Pin under ring finger. weight hole, layout can be viewed in my other post. I am chasing that second 300 down, my first 800, and I almost had again. Went 279-279-218 for a 776 series. This ball is absolutely ludacris on the backend, I could have had two 300's in this set. One I let up on the speed and it checked up high on me, the other I beared down on it but I pulled it inside. Ohh Well, new high series for me. Inching closer to 800 though!

Hmm..Lets see what I have in this bag...some magic, some hot sauce, and a saw.. how can I loose?
