If you could choose...
« on: October 20, 2007, 02:44:12 PM »
What Hammer's next release would be, what would it be? Existing core? Existing cover? New core/cover? What line? Colors? Name?

For me, I'd have to say go with a Pearl version of the Beat'n cover...Maybe bright blue and black pearl. That's be great...

If it were up to you...what would Hammer's next release be?

NVS cover and Beat'n core that ball would make a dead left turn at breakpoint.

A dark green particle pearl ( the cover from the pearl smashtime would be nice ) with the toxic weightblock and a flip cap on top called the ENVY. ( and yes, this is a play off the name NV )

Pearl and higher RG to get it through the heads clean, toxic wieghtblock and medium cover to read the mids, particles to cut through carrydown, and a flipblock to add that little "POP" to the backends.

Violent Response Reactive w/Traction Pearl and the Toxic core, maybe a light blue with green and red pattern of some sorts.

While we're dreaming, bring back the Tuff but a different color.

I would pick a particle cover on the Doom/Pain core.

I want them to bring back the diesel reactive pearl IMHO one of the best hammers ever made

Bowling on the right side of lane is making bowling fun again and is making me think, I am going to be such a better bowler once I can bowl on the left side again!!

Hammer definitively needs a tame ball, for light to dry conditions. I'd love to see a true(!) urethane with a dynamic core re-introduced, e. g. a polished pearl for true dry lanes or a sanded solid for lighter conditions, with the Raw Hammer core. I'd see it as a more arcing alternative to the Vibes and to fill a market gap that has been left open from the discontinued Slate Blue Gargoyle

Another thing I wonder is how much difference a flip cap on the Raw Hammer series core would make. That would be interesting. You guys are right though, the need for a light oil ball is definitely there.
