Issues Resolved with No Mercy
« on: November 21, 2006, 03:17:02 AM »
For those, No Mercy users that have a misaligned Pin/CG and HART ball and are having problems with the ball hitting weak especially with a #1 Hammer layout.  Depending on what your starting top weight was I would suggest you have your driller look at putting an X hole above or on your NAP to take the ball to 0 or at least if not some positive weight for better continuation thru the pins.  Do make sure you roll the ball first so your driller can put the X hole here you won’t clip it with any of your track flare.

Then, tweak the cover for your best results.  Cover tweaking is not going to give you great results until the statics are fixed.  This is what I have seen in my own experience and also another user who had the same type of misalignment Pin/CG and HART.........NOT in a straight line.

Hope this helps some folks who have been disappointed with the ball.  My stats. are in my profile.  I drilled my X hole larger to put ¼ oz. positive in mine with dramatically different results.  This resolved my issues with the ball and it’s as good now as everybody that has had great results with the ball.

My NM is now 1/4 oz. postive and used it tonite in the last game after heads broke down enough to use the NM at 4000 abralon.  256.  Great ball and drilled correctly now I know I will be scoring big with it.

Sir.....you probably aren't bowling on as much lane conditioner as I am.  What you consider oil I might consider dry.

Glad to hear you got this working for you.  I think others should look into doing what you did if they had bad results from there's.

Mine is still strong as ever.  The #6 layout is a good one for this ball.

chi,

I agree folks that are having issues with their No Mercy should definietly look into it if their NM is misaligned.

With your rev rate I think you will be able to carry some off hits others can not.
