The Cobalt is definitely going to be stronger.  Picture the Violent Reactive cover used on the original Black Widow with the Vibe core and that is exactly what you get.

I haven't seen the Nail used around here at all. But, it uses the Doom core and on paper should be slightly above the Cobalt Vibe.

Both the Nail & Cobalt Vibes are great balls that can be used on a lot of medium to drier patterns. The Nail will be slightly stronger overall than the Cobalt from what I have seen & what I use. The Cobalt has matched up better for me than the Midnight. Cobalt Vibe is a earlier & more backend movement than the Midnight.

Hope this helps...

My daughter has both the Midnight, and Cobalt Vibes. The Cobalt is about 3 boards more hook, and a little smoother.

I need something to drop down to from my Versamax and before my Chainsaw SOS....when lanes start to burn up. The Midnight Vibes was a good ball for me in these situations, something I can stand left and throw right as it burns up...I may just get another, but want to know about the new stuff
