more hook - Sharp Blade or Vicious Strike?
« on: December 07, 2003, 06:32:25 PM »
Looking to replace my current heavy oil ball (Track Freak) with something that is going to be fairly strong and angular.  I've been looking at getting something Hammer because there hasn't been a Hammer ball I haven't liked (including the Diesel Particle Pearl, which everybody has basically said was junk in my area).  So basically I was wondering if anybody has thrown the Sharp Blade and/or the Vicious Strike and how much ball either one is and how angular they can be.  Much thanks for any info.

I had an opportunity to throw all of the new Hammer's at their Demo Days here in SoCal, and I personally was more impressed with the Sharp Blade of the two you mentioned, it seemed to be a bit more angular for me off of the dry, and the hit was tremendous.  However, I did like the Power Diesel even more than that.  I ordered a Power Diesel and have found it to be just as powerful on oil as anything else in my bag (Fear Factor and Raging Inferno included).  My recommendation would be the Power Diesel, but I don't think you would be disappointed with any of them, they were all fantastic balls on the shot I threw them on.
