Doom period!  Honestly I have not tried many Hammer balls but the Doom is a very versatile ball to say the least.  If you don't mind adjusting the cover it can handle a wide amount of conditions.

Curious, I see several Doom entries as the most versatile ball?  I have seen quite a few bowlers using this ball, and it seems to me it would be categorized as a huge swinging flip ball?  Nice ball, tremendous move to the pocket, but kind of seems one dimensional. Very Good looking Ball.

Are users tweaking the cover to get more consistency, versatility. Boy, from what I've seen, this ball moves and seems to be very uncontrollable if conditions get flakey. Either Spiltville or overadjusted Washout or Huge pocket scores.

Just a kindly observation, wanting to see if I missed something.  I was in the market for this ball initially, but then I flipped my thoughts away from a purchase.

The Hawgs have my interest now.

I dont have a Doom but in my arsenal, my High Rev is the most versatile. You can dull it/slow it down in heavier patterns or shine it up/speed it up in drier patterns. Its awesome in all but the most extreme of patterns.
