When Thomas was still with 900G, he said the 11 lb international stuff was for the "spinner" release bowlers.

That makes sense.. drive and strong continuation through the pins isn't the type of reaction spinners have nor need.

BL.
Ive edited my post. Ryan Press with Seismic made this statement, not Thomas from 900G.

Is the Scandal symmetric or asymmetric?

Hopefully it will sell better than intentions,I actually like the Bad Azz, I believe the Dark Legend is supposed to be a Hybrid  cover that was on the USA  limited edition Widow, I liked the limited very strong just not a skid/flip reaction u normally get from a pearl, like the Red legend pearl is.

Threw the Scandal  yesterday.  It is a big hooking ball.  One of the strongest overall hooks I have seen in a while.  Carry is real good and yes it is the Capital on the logo with the name.  Shot 279 right off the press with it on a THS last night. 750 for the set.

Videos are up.

Scandal:

Black Widow Dark Legend:

Initial thoughts: BWDL is basically the BW Limited, Hybrid version of the Semtex cover, same finish. With being 2 - 3 more boards inside of the BWRL, there isn't much difference here that I see on the whole, though it does look like a cross between a Taboo Jet Black and a Purple Vibe.

Scandal: Looks impressive. Barta's pin-up ball looks to have some polish on it, while pin down looks OOB. if the BWDL is 2 - 3 boards inside the BWRL, the Scandal is 2 - 3 boards inside the BWDL. That for a symmetric piece is impressive. FCC rating is 27.75, with the cover being a 10.

Though it is asymmetric, I'd love to see the Scandal compared to the Warrior Elite.

Finally, I'd take those shoes.

my flyer says symmetric core

and holy toledo! does this thing hook, oddly gets through the heads for being such a monster
much better than the Bad Intentions..

As far as the BW dark Legend, I did not care for for the past pieces with this core, just didnt match up well at all.
This one is different, has more3 midlane and still the booming backend depending on layout
this one will be a keeper so far from what I am seeing

I should have made it more specific; my apologies. With the Warrior Elite being asymmetric, I'd love to see that ball compared to the Scandal.

DL has more midlane because of the new cover
its more arcing before the move off the friction

its a bit more than the limited from what I was told at the latest seminar
that ball so popular and, well, limited- that they had to follow it up with this one

I have too much stuff to get excited about new releases, but I threw my Scandal for the first time today, and the ball is the real deal. It's one of the most impressive symmetric heavy oilers I've thrown. I haven't been a big fan of Hammer, but the Scandal is going to raise some eyebrows.
