Ok, I can officially say the DOOM IS for REAL!

After my second night in summer league with the ball, my average is sitting at 191, a full 26 pins higher than my fall average.  My high game in fall leagues was a 223, and last night I threw the front seven with the Doom.  After some operator error, I ended up with a 229.  I also threw a 235 with it last week!  (Those are GREAT scores for me!)  This ball is just incredibly powerful and controllable.  I never even have to THINK about a ball change on the THS.  This is the first ball I've been able to use for an entire set since the Sling Blade.  Unbelievable hit and carry, coupled with easy cheesy control.  If you don't yet have one, you are selling your game short!

I can't quite go that far but I must admit I have seen it...albeit in the hands of one of our best bowlers(I believe one of the very best armswings and speed versus rev rates in the country).

And it looks SENSATIONAL.  But it is tough for this guy not to look good.

If not shooting 800 he is frequently threatening it.

BUT I saw him where he frequently used a Columbia throttle/R(a great ball by the way) and he looked even better than with his great Throttle R with which he has had many an 800.

The doom looked like somehow that the coverstock is stronger...creates a more even reaction with still plenty of kick even for the more average handed.  I've also seen it look very good and make less talented bowlers look good.

In reading reviews like most pearls I have noted one of refers to the extreme bounce off of a severe wet dry...well pearls do that for me ...but from what I've seen I intend to get and try!

Great lookin killer ball from visual only!

Your correct in saying that a bowler that does not have this ball in there bag is selling themselves short.  This is by far the best reactive pearl ball I have ever seen or owned.

The Doom: Strong and controllable back end.  This ball flat out hits hard!

Im buyin another one even though i don't need it. can't wait for the pain to come out. i said i wasn't gonna buy anything else for a while but when you take a ball fresh out the box and shoot the back 11 first game.....You've found a winner.

I should also add that for the first time EVER, I'm listed in the High Game Scratch category and High Average category in my league!
