Onyx Vibe with a weak drill?
« on: June 07, 2010, 08:48:11 PM »
How weak would an Onyx Vibe be with roughly a 6.5" pin to PAP, pin over fingers be? I'm not trying to buy a new one and put that layout on it, I just have the chance to buy one used.

Strike,

I cannot tell you how weak 6.5" would be however, I can tell you about my experiences with a 6" pin above the middle finger did for myself.

With this layout, it really smoothed out the reaction of the ball. Really good go to ball when the lanes got ugly. I really liked being able to play straight up the boards more often without the worry of over reaction.

Hope this helps some. God Bless!

I drilled mine 5 by 5 and it is super weak. Gets lots of length and kinda craps out on me. I was sure it would be stronger

Words of advise. Limiting your self to just one company is never smart. Get proven balls out on the market. Global, Storm inc, Ebonite international, er what ever it may be.
